Rachel, born In Israel on the 4th of August, 1954, is an artist with an impressive folio of educational credits, experience and academic interests. She holds a B. A. Degree in creative art and literature (1975), a teaching art diploma (1977), a M. A. Degree in planning aesthetic education (1979), all from the University of Haifa, and she completed her Ph.D. studies in education (1982) at the Technion, Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.
During and after her studies, she concentrated on the teaching of children's book Illustration, creativity, visual communication and interior design.
She practised as an interior design consultant, published articles on the subject and is a member of the British Institute of Interior Design.
Rachel found that interior design concepts are influenced by the same visual forces and principles as her visual arts. This inter-relation between art works and interior design inspired her to start producing works specifically to complement decor schemes.
The mixed media in which Rachel works allow her versatility to produce original pieces of any size and style, suited to the commercial and domestic markets.
She create her works in a spectrum of color, using abstract and organic shapes suggestive of nature.
Each original has unique qualities. Art connoisseurs are exposed to different talent and technique, and the public in relating to work of this class find It exciting and pleasing to the eye.
